MEET OUR TEAM
Daniel Porter, Chairman and CEO Mr. Porter formed the original CCNG entity, Corpus Christi Gas Gathering, Inc., in 1982 to engage in the midstream gas marketing and gathering business. The enterprise grew into an integrated full-service regional natural gas midstream company, with over 450 miles of pipelines and a gas processing plant. It was sold in 1998 to an affiliate of Shell Oil Company. Since then, Mr. Porter has focused on the startup and growth of other diversified companies, including businesses engaged in non-hazardous oil and gas waste disposal, production and sale of brine, hydrocarbons storage, and real estate development. He received a BS degree in Technology from the University of Houston in 1979. |
Raymond Welch, Executive Vice President and Chief Engineer
Mr. Welch joined CCNG in 1985, following an early career in industrial power engineering and alumina refining plant maintenance management for the Aluminum Company of America. At CCNG, he oversees the engineering, construction and operation of various midstream energy assets including pipelines, processing plants, disposal facilities and salt caverns. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas. |
L.J. Anderson, Vice President of Engineering and Operations
Mr. Anderson joined CCNG in 2017. Prior to that, he had a 25-year career in development, engineering, procurement, construction and operations of industrial power plants in the United States. For CCNG, Mr. Anderson manages project development, engineering, construction and operation of midstream assets. He received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. |
Jack Creveling, Senior Vice President of Real Estate
Mr. Creveling has overseen strategic planning for and development of the Spanish Oaks residential community and golf club since joining CCNG in 1999. He was instrumental in negotiating the entitlements and utility agreements for Spanish Oaks and assisted in the planning and construction of the regional utility system for the community and the City of Bee Cave. Prior to joining CCNG, Mr. Creveling was an analyst in the Denver office of Cushman Realty, focusing on investment grade office properties. He received his bachelor’s degree in the Plan II Honors liberal arts and sciences program from the University of Texas and his master’s degree in real estate and construction management from the University of Denver. |
Becky Lunney, Chief Financial Officer
Becky Lunney joined CCNG Inc. in 2014 as Controller for Real Estate Development and was named Chief Financial Officer in April 2018. Initially, Ms. Lunney worked in public accounting for Arthur Andersen & Co and later for KPMG Peat Marwick, focusing on emerging businesses and non-profits in the Houston area. After relocating to Austin in 2008, Becky worked for a local real estate developer before joining CCNG. Ms. Lunney graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Finance and earned a Master of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Houston. |
Sterling J. Silver, Senior Advisor to the CEO
Mr. Silver joined CCNG in March 2018, after 38 years in commercial real estate banking, including 18 years with Comerica Bank as SVP/Manager, Central Texas Commercial Real Estate, and 15 years as Managing Director of US Real Estate for the French bank Société Générale. Over the past 17 years, he provided development financings for various CCNG affiliates. At CCNG, his responsibilities include the structuring and sourcing of debt capital, as well as advising Mr. Porter on various financial and organizational matters. Mr. Silver has a bachelor’s degree in Construction Technology and an MBA from Louisiana State University. |
